Jeewon earned her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), South Korea, in 2024 under the supervision of Dr. Hyun Wook Park. Her research focused on overcoming MRI scan time constraints and image artifacts through physics-informed deep learning techniques.
In September 2026, Jeewon joined the Oden Institute to work with Dr. Michael Sacks, Dr. Jon Tamir, Dr. Reza Saber, and Dr. David Paydarfar. Her current research focuses on developing a patient-specific MRI framework to quantify vessel wall mechanics.
