Dhruv obtained his PhD in Aerospace Engineering from Virginia Tech (VT), USA, in 2024. During the course of his PhD, he investigated standard turbulence modelling techniques and employed machine-learning procedures to augment these techniques in modelling cloud cavitating flows, a highly unsteady, vapor-water multi-phase flow , under the supervision of Olivier Coutier-Delgosha. His research was conducted in collaboration with the University of Melbourne, Australia and the Institut Pprime, a CNRS research facility in Poitiers, France.
Dhruv joined the Oden Institute in June 2024, to work with Prof. Patrick Heimbach.
