Do you wish the installer to initialize Anaconda3
    by running conda init? [yes|no]
    [no] >>> no

You have chosen to not have conda modify your shell scripts at all.
To activate conda's base environment in your current shell session:

    eval "$(/workspace/anaconda3-2022.05/bin/conda shell.YOUR_SHELL_NAME hook)"

To install conda's shell functions for easier access, first activate, then:

    conda init

If you'd prefer that conda's base environment not be activated on startup,
set the auto_activate_base parameter to false:

    conda config --set auto_activate_base false

    Thank you for installing Anaconda3!

macOS installs

Warning

For Mac users, install Anaconda environments in your home directories. Read below for more information on why.

We’re seeing vulnerability issues with some packages in Anaconda3 and Miniconda3 environments that are installed using the graphical installer on macOS. The graphical installer by default installs the conda packages in the system directory /opt. This can be an issue when some conda packages have known vulnerabilities. Packages such as curl , openssl, and mysql to name a few, are frequently identified as vulnerable. Keeping these packages up to date or removing them is ideal but this is not always happening.

We’re asking macOS users to stop using the graphical installers and instead use the CLI installer to install the Anaconda environment in their home directory. If you want to continue to use Anaconda3, please follow their instructions for downloading and installing the environment in your home directory using the command line.

https://www.anaconda.com/docs/getting-started/miniconda/install/mac-cli-install

The instructions for the graphical installer show it should have an option to install in an alternate location other than in /opt. This is not always the case and some testing has found the installer doesn’t present an alternate location. Users find it easier to use the graphical installers and if choosing to install with this method and it doesn’t prompt for an alternate location for you, we have no course but to remove or uninstall any conda environments under /opt. You have been warned.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate you keeping our systems secure and up to date with the latest packages and software.
