Jarrett receives National Cancer Institute Award

Angela Jarrett

ICES Researcher Angela Jarrett has been awarded the 2018 Laurence P. Clarke Young Investigator Award from the Quantitative Imaging Network program at the National Cancer Institute.

The award includes delivering a lecture at the group's annual meeting where she will elaborate on her research developing mathematical formulations of the effects of various therapies on cell proliferation in tumors.

Jarrett works in the ICES Center for Computational Oncology with Professor Tom Yankeelov. She was the recipient of an ICES Postdoctoral Fellowship from 2016-18. She completed her Ph.D. at Florida State University in the Department of Mathematics in April 2016.
