What is the schedule for the hiring process?
The hiring process will continue until all eight positions are filled. It is possible that the search will continue over several years (possibly 4-5 years).

It is possible that interviews will begin in late spring 2009.

Currently, three areas have been identified: Computational Cardiovascular Engineering, Computational Statistics, and Computational Materials and Molecular Sciences. This site will be updated as new areas are identified.

When should I expect a negative or positive answer?
When the committee reviews the applicants, if you are not selected, you will be notified immediately.
Should I reapply if I have additional publications after I have submitted my application or should I update my application?
Please do not reapply or send updates to your application unless you wish to withdraw your application. The committee will request additional publications, paperwork, etc. if there is interest in the applicant.
Are these tenured faculty positions?
These are tenure and tenure-track positions.
Should I submit letters of recommendation or should I ask my references to submit the letters of recommendation?
Please do not submit letters of recommendation, and please do not ask anyone to submit them on your behalf. The committee will request letters of recommendation from the list of references at a later date.
