A block of rooms has been reserved at the Doubletree Club Hotel, 1617 N.IH 35, Austin, Texas for a reduced rate of $125/night October 19-21, 2005. This hotel is adjacent to the University of Texas campus.  To make your reservation, call (512) 479-4000, refer to either reservation #83604087 or “Ruth Hengst” and indicate the nights you will be staying.  You will need a credit card to guarantee your room.  The deadline to obtain this rate is September 19.  After this date, the rooms will be released for sale to the general public at a higher rate.  (Please note:  Saturday, October 22 is a football game day at UT and it may be difficult to obtain housing close to this date.)
